sWEET DREAMS
An Ode to Deep Connection
Sweet Dreams was my first exhibition here in Sydney, and when my friend Louise Costa invited me to be part of it, I knew I wanted to create something a bit taboo and fun — so my Sweet Dreams had to be about sex haha.
A big thank you to Louise for the invitation, and another big thank you to Sean Crowley, who smashed the sound design once again.

The exhibition brought together five artists, each sharing their own idea of what “sweet dreams” means. For my part, I created five images about deep connection and intimacy — the kind of relationship where you feel safe, open, and truly seen.
In my images, the couple has no eyes on purpose. I wanted to show that real connection doesn’t come from looking at someone, but from feeling them — through trust, communication, laughter, and honesty. The male and female bodies look similar on purpose too, but still keep their differences. For me, it represents how two people can be different, but when they connect deeply, they become one.
The idea is inspired by the feeling of cosmic attraction — that sense that we are two halves coming together. This moment of unity, almost like a prayer, is something bigger than both people.
Visually, I was inspired by Michelangelo’s “Creation of Adam” and “Creation of Eve.” I borrowed his strong colors, textures, shadows, and forms to create something that feels classic and emotional at the same time.
With these images, my message is simple:
In dreams, anything is possible — and in real life, we should follow our deepest desires and bring more love, connection, and honesty into our relationships.
For me, Sweet Dreams wasn’t just an exhibition. It was a chance to explore intimacy in a real and playful way, and invite people to connect on a deeper level.
