RELENTLESS
Relentless was a huge turning point in my life. It was the first time I really felt that, if I stayed disciplined and committed, I could build something extraordinary by myself. But this project would never exist without my great friend Helio Hespanhol (https://heliohespanhol.artstation.com/). Helio created the 3D models for the cyborg and the beetle-cyborg, and his work is a massive part of what makes this film so special. And once again, my friend Sean Crowley brought everything to life with his incredible sound design. His sound added all the emotion the film needed.

I started Relentless in 2018, during one of the hardest periods of my life. I was living far from my family, dealing with anxiety, loneliness, and some heavy thoughts. I was also working full-time, and every bit of free time I had — weekends, nights, early mornings — I put into this project. It became my way to stay grounded.
Through this film, I wasn’t just learning technical stuff. I was learning about myself, my emotions, and how to handle what I was going through. The story of the beetle is a reflection of that. It shows the challenges we face when we step into something new — a new city, a new country, or a new phase in life. And just like the beetle, we only grow when we face our fears and keep going.
Working on Relentless for almost three years taught me discipline, consistency, and the power of showing up even when things feel dark. It turned my struggles into something meaningful and gave me a new direction in life.
I hope this film inspires anyone going through a tough time. Stay strong, keep moving, and don’t give up on your dreams.
